Big thank you to everyone who helped out at our booth at the Tillamook County Fair last week!
Shout out to Dakota Weathers, Chrisi Cover, Stephanie Phillips, Tim Welsh, Dave Deardorff, Michelle Winningham, Aaron Bergeson, Mike Hume, Elly Carroll, Parker McCarthy, Rian Martinsen, Carol Depiante, Tony Kennedy, Will Salser, and Andre Duranleau.
It was an action packed four days of demonstrations of our projects on the VR headsets, helping decorate hard hats with the kids, talking to teenagers and parents about our apprenticeship program, and promoting O’Brien Design + Build. We already have callbacks from multiple people we talked to at the fair. Go team! It was a wonderful event to spread cheer and get involved with the community.
If you have any events or groups you are passionate about that you think would be a good fit for O’Brien, please let me know. We would like to become more involved in all communities we work in. There’s now a go, no-go process to determine if we sponsor or attend an event. Please send me your ideas.

Thanks for doing the work to make this event a success, everyone! Not only was it very fun, but we really helped Tillamook Bay Community College get the word out about our JATC partnership with them….very positive responses from the people we talked with during the Fair.
