This stunning home renovation in SW Portland seamlessly blends historic charm with modern living. Originally built in 1902, the house underwent a thoughtful transformation to create a more open and functional layout. The project involved removing walls to enhance flow, updating all finishes—including flooring, cabinetry, tile, and trim—and designing a new primary suite with a refreshed bedroom and bathroom.

Working within the constraints of the original structure, we navigated multiple design iterations to meet the client’s needs while addressing structural challenges due to the home’s age and necessary restorations. The result is a beautifully modernized space that honors the home’s historic character while offering contemporary comfort and style.
