Since 1979, Nu-Tech Machining Inc. has provided precision machining services in the Pacific Northwest to Aerospace, Food, Electronics, Semi-Conductor, and Transportation Industries.  The company supports these businesses through prototyping, development, and construction of special handling and processing equipment.

High demand for the company’s products, particularly those used in computer chip production and testing, led to Nu-Tech purchasing a 3.25-acre surplus property site located at the Port of Vancouver USA.

In 2023, O’Brien’s team completed two new buildings totaling nearly $5 million on the site. At 25,000 SF, Building A serves as the company’s new machining center. Building B provides 12,000 SF of leasable space for a complementary tenant. The company plans to employ up to 30 full-time people at the new Vancouver facility.
