O’Brien’s team was honored to help bring LucidWild Estate’s extraordinary new two-story tasting room to life. Every element of the building was designed to elevate the wine-tasting experience throughout a series of distinctive tasting rooms, each with its own signature ambiance. Guests can choose between open spaces with sweeping views, private and intimate settings, and even a wine cave with a dedicated tasting lounge. Each space is defined by custom detailing, handcrafted finishes, and intentional flow, ensuring a seamless balance of comfort, sophistication, and authenticity. This variety allows guests to enjoy a wine tasting to match their own personal occasion and tastes.

The project is deeply rooted in place, with both design choices and materials that make the tasting room feel like a part of the land it is built on. Local materials, such as hand-selected basalt rock, anchor the building in its surroundings, while the design blends the warmth and precision of high-end residential architecture with the functionality of a refined hospitality venue. The project was designed to capitalize on the beauty of both the vineyard and the idyllic Willamette Valley countryside beyond. The tasting room entrance frames a gorgeous panorama of the vineyard, offering an astonishing first impression for guests, one that mirrors the elegance and depth of the wines themselves, and sets the stage for the unforgettable experience that awaits every visitor.
