Lincoln Sands Oceanfront Resort

Transforming an old property into a luxury boutique retreat on the Oregon Coast required a thoughtful blend of design ingenuity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the region’s unique challenges. The multi-phase project began with the renovation of the existing Lincoln Sands hotel, including the revitalization of guest units, a remodel of exercise and amenities areas, and the reconstruction of the parking lot. This phase emphasized durability and aesthetics, incorporating weather-resistant cladding, corrosion-proof fixtures, and high-performance windows to withstand the harsh coastal conditions.

The project expanded with the owner’s acquisition of the neighboring property, formerly the Cozy Cove. This phase involved a near-complete tear-down of one building and a comprehensive gut-and-renovate approach for another to ensure quality and structural stability.

A dilapidated beach house and an empty lot between the properties are being transformed into a central hub featuring a mass-timber boutique hotel with a full-floor luxurious penthouse, a food and beverage venue, and a courtyard patio with an infinity pool overlooking the Lincoln City beachfront. This final phase has been designed, permitted, and is poised to begin construction.

The project exemplifies how thoughtful development can breathe new life into neglected spaces. Beyond revitalizing the property, this interconnected, full-fledged resort enhances the surrounding community, serving as a compelling draw for travelers to the Oregon Coast.
