Depoe Bay Fire Station 22

O’Brien’s team worked closely with the Depoe Bay Fire District to complete a $1.6 million seismic retrofitting of Station 22 at Gleneden Beach, on the Oregon coast. Originally built in 1995, the single story, 11,130 square-foot wood framed building includes office space, a training room, and a kitchen area located in the structure’s southern portion. A six-bay apparatus room, storage, and shop area comprise the structure’s northern portion.

With funding from the State of Oregon’s Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program (SRGP), this project’s comprehensive scope of building improvements included demolition, framing, siding, overhead doors, evacuation and man doors, as well as full interior finishes.
