Accretech Offices and Production Facility

This commercial manufacturing construction in Portland is a design-build collaboration between O’Brien and Open Concept Architecture.

O’Brien’s work with Accretech SBS goes beyond the production of precision measuring systems and focuses on the people who make them. The structure employs a biophilic design that centers around mass-timber wood elements, using sustainable materials and building systems to create a space where people enjoy the comfort of a modern work environment.

Communication across cultures and disciplines defines our work on this Portland commercial construction project. Working with Accretech, we came to understand form, function, and human well-being not as separate concepts, but as parts of a holistic approach to their work.
