Baked Alaska

The cool thing about working with Keeley is he urged us to make decisions to keep us on schedule. If you want to make this thing flow, you need to decide. If someone is drawing a project out, it’s the client—not O’Brien & Company.

Christopher Holen Owner and Executive Chef

Project description

Uniquely located over the water, Baked Alaska in Astoria was a top-to-bottom renovation. In record time, O’Brien gutted and rebuilt the inside of this intricate structure. Showcasing wild, natural, and sustainable food, Baked Alaska offers scenic views in comfortable seating arrangements to suit diners from casual to dressy.

Dining for All

Three distinct areas separate a relaxed tavern area, bar area, and family dining room. Whether it’s a wood-fired pizza in the tavern, a one-of-a-kind drink in the bar, or fine cuisine in a formal dining space, Baked Alaska provides something for everyone.

Home Cooking

O’Brien worked with many local vendors to support this project and keep the local economy thriving. Repurposed materials and carefully curated antiques were used to make this space truly special.
