Kris is a positive employee who started as a laborer in the field and has worked himself into a key cog on the Equipment Team and in the company. I’ve been working with him for the past 2.5 years. He has worked hard to learn the business, increase his knowledge and skill base, is willing and able to learn and is always striving to help others and the company to be successful. Kris is a quality employee and has shown that O’Brien has many different jobs and opportunities if you’re willing to accept challenges, not afraid to try, work hard, and learn new skills.
Kris has always embodied O’Brien’s core values and has actively worked to promote them in his work and personal life. Kris has earned the trust of other employees and teams, if Kris says he’ll do it, it will be done. He will communicate if there is a delay or change of plans and will follow it to closure. Kris understands the concept of collaboration and understands how much more successful everyone can be by collaborating with others, bouncing ideas between, getting assistance, passing on knowledge and skills between others. Kris hungers for knowledge and new skills, and works hard to find innovations into tools, equipment, and processes that will improve his and other’s jobs and the company’s bottom line.
The future for Kris at O’Brien is only limited to what Kris’ desires are, his willingness to challenge himself, learn new and improve existing skills, continue to trust in himself and others, collaborate with others, and research and try new innovations. Kris is a thriving example of how O’Brien provides opportunities and supports employees willing to put the extra effort in to improve themselves and the company..
